First Round

So last week, the day I got out of school, I played my first golf round in over 5 years. Needless to say it was not pretty as I shot a 120 through 17 holes before I decided I had had enough. Out of my 120 shots I can honestly say that 10 of them were decent shots that I was proud of. The course I played, Memorial Golf Course, was beautiful and forgiving, yet somehow I managed to lose 5 of my 6 balls (3 of them in water). So my first round was not great, most of my problems were mental ones. For example I could not keep my head down while swinging and anytime I hit a ball terribly I could not recover. So today I am hitting Memorial again (just driving range, putting, and chipping). Hopefully I can fix some of my problems I was having last week. I will keep you guys posted

FINALS

Today is the day before i start my "quest" to become a scratch golfer (shoot par). I have History and Spanish finals tomorrow which is a huge roadblock to the start of my summer. Tomorrow I play a full round of golf for the first time in my life. Right after school ends tomorrow I am going to play at the Memorial golf course which is in no way, shape, or form an easy course. I think the course is a good way to tell how awful I really am so don't expect me to shoot a 70 tomorrow.... or any times soon. Alright back to studying and I will post about my round tomorrow.
